SIMON COX - DIRECTOR
Film Maker Simon Cox has spent his life in pursuit of excellence in film. He has had tremendous success with his first feature film, Written in Blood, an editing & directing career that has linked him with Bafta nominations, Oscar short listings and a large broadcast credit list. His latest feature length DVD documentaries, Discover Warwickshire & Discover Shakespeare’s Stratford Upon Avon are selling all over the world, receiving excellent reviews and recently a Godiva award for Best Business Innovation.
He has built a good business in Film, TV and corporate videos with a wealth of clients who regularly return to him because of his high standards, integrity, creativity and reliability.
But Simon's heart lies in making great British feature films...
SIMON BOVEY - WRITER
Simon Bovey is a multi award winning writer and director for both short films and features. He has written extensively for BBC radio and television and is a long time collaborator with Simon Cox.
Simon served his apprenticeship with Film Director Lindsay Anderson (If, O’Lucky Man, Britannia Hospital, Look Back in Anger). He wrote and directed the short films A Soldier’s Tunic and The Un-Gone. He’s an established writer for BBC Radio 4 and for the BBC1 TV drama series Doctors.
GORDON HICKIE - DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Gordon Hickie, is an award winning cameraman who has worked with directors like John Schlesinger, Ken Russell and Tom Stoppard. His feature film credits include, Leon The Pig Farmer, Brassed Off and Written in Blood. He was the Director of Photography on Silent Witness, Red Cap, The Inspector Lynley Mysteries and The Brief and is currently shooting Waterloo Road and Holby City for the BBC.
